The research aimed to determine the relationship between nurses' occupational safety awareness and safe behavior. According to the socio-demographic characteristics of nurses, occupational safety awareness; In terms of age, gender, presence of an occupational health and safety unit in the institution, work accident status, and in the safe behavior scale; A statistically significant difference was found in the variables of education level, presence of an occupational health and safety unit in the institution, and the status of having a work accident. In the study, it was determined that there was a significant, highly positive relationship between nurses' occupational safety awareness and safe behavior. As a result, it is thought that as nurses' awareness of occupational safety increases, their safe behavior increases, and thus the study will contribute to the development of safe working environments.
