Abstract (EN)

The PID control system is preferred as a control method that is frequently used in today's industry and industries. It is a system that can be easily supplied in the market and can be applied to almost any control systematic. Therefore, the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control system has been further developed and different algorithms and optimization methods have been researched and used. The best things about meta-heuristic algorithms are low processing load and easy implementation. Another area of use of meta-heuristic algorithms is PID controllers. Much better results can be obtained when using metaheuristic algorithms with PID controllers. In this thesis, PID and FOPID controllers are used as controllers. For systems of three different structures, these controllers and meta-heuristic algorithms have been applied separately. The first of these three systems is the aircraft pitch system, the second is the automatic voltags regulator (AVR) and the third is the DC motor speed control system. The current and effective HGSO algorithm, which is a meta-heuristic optimization technique, has been successfully applied to the controller design in these three systems. In addition, HGSO algorithm results were compared with other studies in the literature and superior results were obtained.
