Abstract (EN)
In this study, which aimed to determine ecological characteristics of macrobenthic invertebrates and lagoon in the Hersek Lagoon located on the shores of the Sea of Marmara, a total of 34 species were found in 6 station. According to the literature, it is determined that 2 species are (Hydroides dianthus, Lekanesphaera monodi) new to the Sea of Marmara. The ecological characteristics of the Hersek Lagoon range between 26.6°-30.4° C for temparature, 26.3‰- 33.6‰ for salinity, 2.93-13.95 mg/l for dissolved oxygen, 7.5-8.9 for pH, total organic carbon content was determined as 1.69% and 5.5% and percentage of mud 19.7% and 91.1% respectively.
