Abstract (EN)

Occupational Safety Risk Analysis in the Construction of Hydroelectric Power Plant Siirt Çetin Dam Example Identifying the basic risks in terms of Occupational Health and Safety in businesses, taking precautions for emergencies and preparing a risk management plan will reduce the rate of accidents that may be encountered. Risk analysis studies are of great importance in order to define the processes that can minimize the impact by evaluating the risks, to monitor the effectiveness of these processes and to carry out continuous improvement processes. Since hydroelectric power plants constitute a significant share in electricity production in our country, Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant located in Şirvan district of Siirt province were determined and field work was carried out in the thesis study. In this facility, a risk assessment was made using the 5x5 L type matrix method, 107 risks were identified and solution suggestions were presented. It has been understood once again how dangerous the work done in hydroelectric powerplants is. With the risk analysis made, an attempt has been made to determine the principles that should be done for the detection and reduction of occupational accidents in terms of occupational health and safety and the construction of a safe dam.
