Abstract (EN)
Water is in a cycle in nature.Rainfall-runoff process forms an important part of this cycle. It plays an active role in the design of the estimated water resources of the flow from precipitation. asin is a system that converts precipitation into flow. Information about physical events (precipitation, flow, evaporation, etc.) occurring in the basin can be collected. Today's technology (rainfall-runoff, temperature, etc.) enables the measurement of hydrometeorological data. A specific time interval is determined by using parameters and some functions from the data measured by establishing a hydrological model and modeling is carried out with a realistic simulation. In this study, Daily data observed between 1987-1991 in the basin of Kurukavak stream were modeled using HEC-HMS, a lumped model, and TOPMODEL, a semi-distributed model. NSE (Nash-Sutcliffe Model Efficiency Coefficient) was used to measure the performance of both models. The calibration NSE value for HEC is in the range of 0.60-0.96, validation in the range of 0.69-0.82. On the other hand, as a result of modeling with TOPMODEL, calibration is between 0.67-0.96 and validation is between 0.78-0.99. As a result, successful results were obtained in both models and they were properly represented in the basin. However, when the results were analyzed carefully, it was seen that TOPMODEL gave more successful results than the HEC-HMS model.
