"Fantastic Elements and Education Focused Values in the Works of Hikmet Temel Akarsu" is the aim of this research to determine the fantasy elements and educational focus values of the works of Hikmet Temel Akarsu. This research first tried to determine the fantastic elements in the works of Hikmet Temel Akarsu. Fantastic literature has made great strides in the way of theorization, especially with Todorov's definitions. According to some researchers, escape literature is based on some researchers, but educational qualities are brought about by features such as fantastic literature, mystery, indecision, which is considered as a different presentation of the truth. Because fantasy literature appeals to the imagination of individuals, it leads them to higher cognitive processes. Another feature of this research that was sought in the works of Hikmet Temel Akarsu was education-oriented values. Values are defined as attitudes and behaviors that have cultural and universal qualities that are effective in the regulation of social life. Values are seen as one of the most important elements to be included in educational programs due to these characteristics. In this thesis study, fantasy items and education oriented values in the works of Hikmet Temel Akarsu were determined using qualitative research methods. The authors were involved in researching novels, stories and stories that were the subject of the thesis work. In addition, the author's works have been reached by educational analysis, descriptive analysis. In the conclusion section, suggestion have been made to the teachers and the books to be read by the children. Education - oriented values of books used in educational activities in schools are one of the desired characteristics. For this reason, teachers should be informed about the educational values that should be found in the books from the teachers who will guide the students in book reading activities. In this research, there are conclusions and suggestions that teachers are expected to help in this direction. The childish fantasy used by Hikmet Temel Akarsu is a combination of education-oriented values and the characteristics of fantasy literature. By using the unlimited imagination possibilities provided by the fantasy writer, the stream aims to acquire some important universal values by means of the detection method.
