Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to examine the direct effect of servant leadership style on intent to leave and to reveal the mediating role of organizational commitment and perceived organizational support in this relationship. For this purpose, first of all, a theoretical framework was created by scanning the domestic and foreign literature on the subject. Then, a field study was conducted on bank employees operating in Erzurum in order to investigate these relationships. The data obtained were analyzed in SPSS 24 and AMOS 20 package programs and the hypotheses of the research were tested. As a result of the research, when the direct relationships between the variables of servant leadership, intent to leave, organizational commitment and perceived organizational support were examined; servant leadership affects intent to leave negatively, while it affects organizational commitment and perceived organizational support positively; it was concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational commitment and perceived organizational support, and a negative and significant relationship between the variables of intent to leave, organizational commitment and perceived organizational support. In addition, the mediating roles of organizational commitment and perceived organizational support in the relationship between servant leadership and intent to leave were also examined.
