Abstract (EN)

In this research Hılla Lake algea located in Kırşehir were examined on samples taken from two stations and different habitats (plankton, epiliton, epifiton ve epipelon) between September 2013 and August 2014. Algea types and seasonal changes in their abundance were evaluated by some physical and chemical features of water. The highest organism density in the 1st station of the lake was recorded in May and December while in the 2nd station months were February and March. The lolwest water temperature was recorded in January by 13.5°C and the highest by 25°C in July and August. During the research period it was observed that Bacillariophyceae algea were dominant on both stations. Mougetia, Spirogyra, Diatom, Achnanthidium and Navicula were "generally" observed as dominant and Amphora only in February. Factors such as removing macrophytes which cover lake surface regularly and water temperature's being over seasonal normals are thought to have been efficient on algea development. KeyWords: Algea, Bacillariophyceae, algea except for Bacillariophyceae, seasonal variation, Hılla Lake
