The effects of the profession acguisition activities of the convicted and the imprisoned on their professional lives: An exemplary study in Maltepe Prison

This study aims to decide to examine the attitudes of convicts and prisoners, who take advantage of supervised independence, on vocational training activities due to their demographic and descriptive specialities. For this purpose, prepared survey forms were applied on 462 persons including 266 prisoners and convicts, 196 prisoners who take advantage of supervised independence. Data of surveys were analysed on computer with SPSS 21.0 statistic program. T Test, One Direction Anova Test and Tukey Test were used for the evaluation with percentage, average and standard deviation. At the end of investigation, it was decided that convicts, prisoners and prisoners, who take advantage of supervised independence has developed no positive and no negative attitudes; it was decided that they developed mid-level attitude. Beside, it was determined that due to some demographic and some descriptive specialities of prisons, convicts, prisoners and prisoners, who take advantage of supervised independence have attitude differentiation on vocational training activities.
