The police origin deputies in the first term Turkish Great National Assembly

First Term Turkish Great National Asssembly was an assembly which administered national independence war and established New Turkish Republic. The members of this Assembly represented various strata of society. This national assembly was consist of every stratum of society ex. Farmers, religion people, soldiers, police. To maintain country?s integrity and to establish National independence were the common goal of the all deputies. At the same time all the Members of the Assembly were devoted, unselfish and brave characters. From this point of view, every character is worth for being researched and focused on.The aim of this work is to make clear the effectiveness of police origin deputies in the first term Turkish Great National Assembly and their contributions to the National Struggle. In addition, it is pointed out in this work that the usage of deputies their professional knowledge and personal experience for the benefit of the country. It is emphasized that the effectiveness, benefits and extraordinary struggle of deputies to this holy period. In this context, totaly eight police origin deputies? life stories, their activities and their contributions in the Assembly were examined in the light of archieve documents and main sources.Key Words: First Term Turkish Great National Assembly, Police, National Struggle
