The examination of the Qur'anic verses referenced by Ibn Hişâm in his work "Şerhu Şüzûri'z-Zeheb" from a nahiv perspective

Language, as the most vital tool for expressing the emotions and thoughts of a nation and for communicating with other nations, holds significant importance. Therefore, all societies have valued their languages and established certain rules to protect them from any from of distortion. In this context, the Arabs developed a methodology known as " sarf- nahiv" to safeguard the rich Arabic language from grammatical errors. This methodology has evolved over time, leading to the creation of numerous rich works in the field by linguists. One of these valuable works is "Şerhu Şüzûri'z-Zeheb", authored by İbn Hişâm. In this study, firstly, an attempt was made to introduce the period in which İbn Hişâm lived, his life, teachers, students, literary personality, the school of grammar to which he belonged in the field of nahiv, and his works. Subsequently, the linguistic deteriorations and the scientific and academic grammar studies conducted to prevent these negatives were summarized, and our author's work in this field, "Şerhu Şüzûri'z-Zeheb", was examined.
