İbn-i Kâtib's Mahzen-i Manzûm (Analysis-edition)

Mehmed Konevî who lived in the end of 15th century and the first half of the 16th century, come to İstanbul during the rise of Ottoman Empire. He was a scholars of astronomy and very accurate timepiece. His one of the important contributions is making astronomy language more Turkish. Mehmed Konevî is Mahzen-i Manzûm, which is Turkish book, is about astronomy and melheme. İt is content is based on planets, the phases of the moon the movement of the stars, the types of times, abjad, the calendars, day of the week, the allegations and lastly it includes prophecies. After the work is examined, transcriptional vercion of the text will be given and the work will be introduced. This work shows that Classical Turkish poetry is interwined with other disciplines.
