Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted on Rhyacophilidae larvae selected from Trichoptera larvae samples collected between 2017-2019 within the scope of the "Project for Establishment of a Reference Monitoring Network in Turkey" carried out under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Water Management and preserved in the Entomology Laboratory of the Biology Department of Kastamonu University. It consists of morphological, systematic and distributional studies. In this context, 885 larvae were examined, and it was determined that there were 14 species belonging to the genus Rhyacophila of the family Rhyacophilidae. These species are Rhyacophila aurata, Rhyacophila intermedia, Rhyacophila nubila, Rhyacophila obliterata, Rhyacophila polonica, Rhyacophila pubescens, Rhyacophila torrentium, Rhyacophila tristis, Rhyacophila vulgaris, Rhyacophila dorsalis, Rhyacophila evoluata, Rhyacophila fasciata, Rhyacophila hirticornis and Rhyacophila praemorsa. The number of individuals belonging to these species, basin, province, location, river/lake name, altitude, coordinates, collection date and typologies, and maps and information about the locations where they were seen in Turkey were compiled and given in our study. Species were examined under a stereomicroscope, important morphological characters for diagnosis were determined and photographed. In the light of this information and photographs, identification keys were created for some Rhyacophilidae larvae distributed in Turkey. As a result of this study, it was determined that the most common Rhyacophila species in Turkey was Rhyacophila obliterata with the number of 327 individuals, while the least common species was Rhyacophila evoluata with one individual number.
