Applications of HVAC systems for hospitals: a case study

Air conditioning systems plays a huge role in human life as it is needed to sustain comfort and health standarts inside closed areas. These systems might differ depending on the usage of closed areas and they should be created with carefulness and precision depending on the usage of the closed area. In this study it is explained how the most critical and one of the most important place for human life, which is the hospital area, should be air-conitioned from the indoor space. Health and comfort air-conditioning for hospitals should be done while complying wit the steril matters. Inside the rooms where air recirculation is not allowed (Operation Room, ICU), all air systems and the air-condition central should be built by psychometric diagram. It is explained with detail that how hygiene sterils the space, how HVAC systems should be applied where hygiene and steril concept is mentioned. As the HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems improve, inside air quailty is getting more importarant. Maintenance for the air-conditioning equipment plays a huge role in maintaining the hygiene and sterilness of the place as it might directly effect the validation readings.
