Teachers and parents views about school-family relationship at firts level of primary education (A study in Agri)

The primary purpose of this research is to determine the views of teachers and parents about the family in the first grade school. The sample of there search can be found in the schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Ağrı. It consists of 150 teachers and 120 students. Survey questions and personal information forms developed by Genc (2005) were used as data collection tools in order to determine teachers 'and parents' opinions about school family cooperation. Questionnaires were first applied with 20 teachers and 20 couples, and language, meaning and content arrangements were made and their validity and reliability were examined. The validity of the scoping was examined by taking the help of the expressions of experts, and the reliability was determined by looking at the Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient. Internal consistency coefficient is 0.84 for teacher questionnaires and 0.73 for parent questionnaires. Obtained findings were analyzed using SPSS 17 packet program. As a result of the research, it has been determined that teacher-parent interviews are frequently held and teachers and parents were carried out in the with theirs demands. According to the teachers, the parents of student who succeeded in their lessons came to interview more, according to the parents, the parents of student who failed in their classes and did not do homework came to interview more, that parental meetings have been held at least once and and this meeting is usually attended by participation and usually joined by mothers, the meetings were effective on children, it has been determined that school family meetings are held at least once a year and that a majority of the parents do not attend this meeting.
