Abstract (EN)

This research, because Turkish assignment applications are related to the school success in 4th and 5th grade primary school, by investigating the teachers who teach in the 4th and 5th grade students about Turkish class assignment, the students' distress concerning assignment and effects of assignments on the student success is tried to be determined. Research has been realized in 2011-2012 education and training year, in Afyonkarahisar city center and towns with 60 classroom teachers who teach in the 4th and 5th grades. In this research more information concerning Turkish Education Program in the assignment application in different classes which have different opportunities (environment, transportation, school opportunities etc.), is tried to get. In negotiations, the experts' point of view has been taken and "Teacher Negotiation Form" prepared by the teacher as a semi-structured form has been used. The data appeared in the research have been and evaluated according to the research techniques. At the end of research, the assignments given by 4th and 5th grade teachers have increased the students' school success. The assignments' being appropriate to the students' age, level, concern and needs, and its' being enjoyable for children has made contributions. The topics in which students have difficulty have been determined. At the same time the assignment application given in the Turkish classes, suggestions made about assignment applications' increasing the school success concerning what will be taken care and how to give assignments.
