Levels of satisfaction of the pri̇mary school teachers

The purpose of this survey it to determine the level of job satisfaction and possible factors which effect the job satisfaction of the primary teachers in primary schools in central districts of Diyarbakır province. In these survey perceptions of teachers related to job and characteristic, the level of job, working condition, super version, pay, promotion possibilities, interpersonal relations and the atmosphere, of the school, school family relations are examined according to branch, the length of service educational level. The universe of the study is the 2613 full time teachers at the primary schools in the province of Diyarbakır during 2012-2013 educational terms. The sample of the study is the 253 teachers. According to the organizational factors that affect job satisfaction primary school teachers, job satisfaction level of teachers has been confirmed as high in characteristic of the job and human relations dimensions moderate in working conditions, individual rights, social contribution, curriculum and administration dimension; low salary and supervision dimensions, of the school, school family relations are examined according to branch, the length of service educational level. According to the individual characteristic, job satisfaction level of teachers has indicated no significant difference in terms of gender and marital status. The job satisfaction level of teachers have been observed significant differences in different dimensions (jo and its character, the level of the job, working conditions, supervision, pay, management, promotion possibilities, school-family relations and the atmosphere of the school) according to individual characteristic (branch, the length of service, the level of education, gender and marital status. The variable that has shown the least difference is length of service variable and the variable that has shown the most difference is the gender variable. It has been confirmed that the job satisfaction level of teachers who has length of service is 6-10 and 11-15 is higher than 1-5. The job satisfaction level of teachers who are 20-25 years old is high than 16-30 and 31-35. As a result, the result of the study has been put forward in the direction of significant data and teacher?s jop satisfaction levels were onlyzed in accordance with their age, jop span and sexfactors and some suggestions have been made to the related corporations.
