The examination of organizational climate i̇n the elementary and secondary schools i̇n terms of some variables(the case of Diyarbakir province)

ABSTRACT Interests of individuals involved in the education process, have different needs and expectations of educational organizations is one of the most important features that make up the climate of the organization. Educational organizations have more informal relationships between individuals than formal affairs organizations. From this aspect, it is influenced more by the organizational climate than other organizations. Organizational climate, he marked expectations and behavior of individuals in the society in which construction is based on a concept that reflects the ambiance of the organization at a particular time. Along with the Schools affects individuals in different ways by which climate features, the aims sought to be realized, also shaped by the effects of it.Although there is not a significant difference between goals each output of school is changed by these effects. It can be said that determining the created climate in this school to contribute the aim differences in a positive way. The aim of this study, conducted in the four central district of Diyarbakır, to examine levels of perception of organizational climate and its gender, seniority, major, age, socio-economic structure and between variables level of encouraging the development of teachers as educational level and encouraging self-improvement factors of teachers working in primary and secondary school. This study population is composed of teachers who are teaching in primary and secondary school located in four central districts of Diyarbakır in the academic year of 2012-2013. The samples of this study are made up of 630 teachers. The survey model was used in the study. The data were obtained using a questionnaire research. As a result of the reliability and validity of the final questionnaire was created. The survey conducted studies consists of six dimensions of reliability and validity. These dimensions are interest, limiting, professionalism, sincerity and truthfulness, directivity and promote. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistical program and the computer environment. The data used for the level of significance was set at 0.05. Personal information of teachers is tabulated and interpreted. Analysis of the data, distribution of the frequency and percentage, point average and standard deviation, t-test to examine the significance of the difference between averages and more than two independent variables are used in the analysis of variance As a result of the analysis of data from surveys; when dimensions of gender and seniority was taken in the variable of both of them, the size of interest comes out of a significant difference. No significant difference in the size of the variable branch were analyzed. According to the socio-economic structure, except the aspect of limiting, all other dimensions have no significant difference. When it is analyzed according to the age variable, no significant difference was observed in any sizes. Significantly different results were obtained in terms of encouraging the instructional development of the managers and encouraging the personal development dimensions.
