Abstract (EN)

Inthisstudy, 1,3-dialkylimidazolinium chloride salts, silver(I)-N-heterocycliccarbene and ruthenium(II)-N-heterocyclic carbene complexesweresynthesized. The structure of allsynthesizedcompoundsweredeterminedbyusingspectroscopictechniquessuch as 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR andelementalanalyses.Thestructure of a Ru(II)–NHC complexwasalsoexplainedby X-Ray singlecrystalmethod. Enzymeinhibitioneffects of imidazolinium salts on -carbonicanhydraseisoenzymes, AChE, BChEand α-Glycosidaseenzymeswereinvestigated. ThesynthesizedRu(II)-NHC complexeswereused as catalysts in the transfer hydrogenation of arylketones and correspondingsecondaryalcoholswasobtainedwithgoodyields.
