Qualitative research on employee selection criteria of enterprises without human resources department: the case study of Islahiye

In this study, employer selection criteria for the enterprises which do not have human resources department have been investigated. The study group of the research was formed in the province of Islahiye of Gaziantep with 12 employers with no human resources department. It is taken into account that these businesses, which do not have a human resources department, operate in different sectors. The questions prepared by the researcher to determine the criteria in the study were used in face-to-face interviews. Different sectors have been selected to clearly understand the recruitment criteria of employers. When the interviews of the researchers with regard to the criteria that the employees mostly paid attention to the staffing were taken into consideration, it was determined that the majority of the personnel candidates were careful to have reference and experience.
