Abstract (EN)
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), which are included as a new stakeholder in the aviation system with the developing technology, should be able to integrate into the airfield without adding additional burdens to other stakeholders. Nowadays, UAV operations, which are mostly performed in separated airfield by taking safety into consideration, affect the productive and efficient use of airfield. In addition to this, the rapid increase in the number of military and civilian UAV increases the demands for the continuation of UAV operations in unallocated airfield. In this case, in order to integrate UAV systems into the existing air traffic environment safely and efficiently, it is necessary to define flight routes specific to UAV systems. In this study, recommendations have been developed to create instrumented flight procedures and to identification of prescribed track for the integration of UAV systems into unallocated airfield. In the proposed recommendations, UAV performance parameters, stakeholder opinions, IFR / VFR regulations, equipment requirements, national and international regulations and flight procedure design processes were taken into consideration. Y-T bar procedure and prescribed track suggestion have been developed for UAV and these recommendations were verified in real-time simulation environment.
