Abstract (EN)

In the XVIIIth century, the Ottoman State entered a process of westernization with the hope of normalising its political, social and economic problems. This process started with the negative results of the long lasting wars. During this period, the reforms on economic, social and political issues have begun to take place. The sultans of the time fulfilled these reforms with their reports and orders. During this period, the Ottoman intellectuals criticized the Ottoman state reforms of the Jon Turks and the Committee of Union and Progress, which are the continuation of new Ottomans, and tried to realize that they are the constitutional system of the main issue in the press. Jon Turks, who made the media thinkers in this direction, made various opposition newspapers. One of these is the İntikam Newspaper. The İntikam Newspaper was published in Geneva by Ali Fahri Ağababa between the years of 1900-1902. The opposition newspaper of Jön Turks, the İntikam Newspaper, In addition to revenge against Sultan II. Abdülhamid, the people also tried to encourage the rebellion. In the last issue of the newspaper, the Jon Turkish Congress was included to announce the phases of the congress. It was tried to show the contribution of the work, the contribution that this newspaper would approach the political, social and administrative problems of the last period of the Ottoman State. The newspaper is important in terms of shedding light on the political and administrative history of Ottoman history in the last period. Purpose of the work; to enlighten the political history of the Ottoman Empire about the political, social and administrative order between 1900 and 1902 by making the classification from the transcript of the revenge journal.
