Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to determine whether the perceptions of job security of teachers working in private schools in Gaziantep have an effect on their job satisfaction levels, organizational citizenship behaviours and organizational commitment levels. In addition, it is aimed to examine whether the level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a mediating effect on the relationship between job security and organizational citizenship behaviour. Initially, the subject of the research within the scope of the study; the questionnaire conducted with the participation of 383 private school teachers was statistically analysed, and the hypotheses determined within the framework of the research model were tested, by referring to the concepts of job security, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behaviour and organizational commitment. All the findings were shared, and interpretations and evaluations regarding the findings were provided. Research findings indicate that job security directly affects job satisfaction and organizational commitment, while it indirectly affects organizational citizenship behaviour. In addition, it has been determined that job satisfaction is one of the important determinants of organizational citizenship behaviour. According to the research findings; It has been suggested that positive perceptions of job security will reflect positively on the work attitudes and behaviours of employees.
