Virtual reality in occupational health and safety studies

The use of virtual reality technologies, which are used in many areas around the world, is becoming widespread in the Occupational Health and safety sector. The results obtained in occupational health and safety (OHS) trainings carried out with "virtual reality" technologies in the Occupational Safety Sector show that virtual reality systems contribute significantly and provide advantages compared to traditional methods. In many studies, it is seen that systems developed with virtual reality technologies are starting to replace traditional methods. The opportunities offered by simulative representation models produced in marketing, design and occupational health and safety with virtual reality technologies on realism and depth perception produce effective results. In this study, the frequency and effectiveness of virtual reality technology tools in the Occupational Health and safety sector were investigated. As part of the study, the Occupational Health and safety processes of virtual reality were also examined. Occupational safety trainings given with virtual reality were investigated face-to-face Occupational Health and safety training and occupational health and safety training with virtual reality were compared and studies were evaluated. With the results achieved in this direction, solution proposals have been developed for the dissemination of Occupational Health and safety education with virtual reality technologies in the Occupational Health and safety sector. In the Occupational Health and safety sector, it is thought that positive gains will be achieved by starting to spread the use of virtual reality technologies and occupational health and safety trainings.
