The effects of job satisfaction and organizational support on cyberloafing and turnover intention: A research on textile workers in Edirne province

The main purpose of this research is to investigate whether job satisfaction and organizational support practices have an effect on cyberloafing and turnover intention in textile sector employees. In this study, it was also examined whether cyberloafing and turnover intentions were affected by demographic characteristics such as gender, marital status, age, education level, monthly income level and length of service in the current institution. In this study, data were collected from 347 participants by using the convenience sampling method, which is one of the non-random sampling methods, by face-to-face survey method. In the analysis of the data obtained within the scope of the research, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution, reliability analysis, normality analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, analysis of variance and regression analysis were used. SPSS 26 statistical package program was used for analysis. As a result of the regression analyzes conducted in the research, it was determined that job satisfaction and organizational support had a negative effect on cyberloafing and turnover intention. In addition, as a result of the applied t tests and variance analysis; It has been determined that there are statistically significant differences between the levels of cyberloafing and turnover intentions in terms of demographic characteristics of the respondents.
