Özet (EN)

In this study, the engineering properties of the materials were investigated by conducting some experiments in order to determine the physical and mechanical properties of the under-sieve pumice stone dust and the under-sieve pumice silty sand, which are considered inert in the stone quarries located in Aksaray Taşpınar region. In sample mixtures made on the basis of C25/30 concrete class; Separate samples were prepared by using 6%, 18%, 30% by weight pumice stone dust under sieve, silty sand under sieve, marble dust and lime. The samples were compared according to the proportional change among themselves, and the properties of the materials were compared in the samples with the same ratio. According to the uniaxial compressive strength test data, the highest compressive strength value after the reference samples was calculated as 16 MPa in the samples prepared with 6% by weight marble powder mixture ratio, followed by 13.5 MPa for the samples containing 6% by weight under-sieve pumice stone powder. The lowest compressive strength values were calculated as an average of 2 MPa for samples containing 30% by weight lime. In order to evaluate the thermal properties of the materials, 40cmx40cmx1.5cm sized plates were prepared in the same mixing ratios, 600ºC heat was given from the front side and the temperature values of the front and back sides of the plates were recorded for 10 minutes and the percentage of heat absorbed by the samples was calculated.
