Abstract (EN)
As scientific advancements have transformed all spheres of social life, technology has emerged as one of the most significant drivers of this change, particularly since the 20th century. Technology has also profoundly influenced the field of education, leading to the emergence of the concept of "educational technology." Although education is a fundamental right for every individual, diverse learner characteristics may prevent equal access to this right. Individuals with hearing impairments constitute one such group and often require additional support in religious education due to their unique needs. Considering that traditional methods of religious instruction are insufficient for these learners, integrating educational technologies into religious education becomes essential. However, the literature indicates a limited number of studies addressing technology use in the religious education of individuals with hearing impairments. In this context, a mobile Qur'an application was developed to benefit from the opportunities offered by educational technology and to provide an inclusive and equitable religious education tool for individuals with hearing impairments. The application, designed using the design and development research model, was evaluated through user experience data collected from 12 participants with hearing impairments via a semi-structured interview form. Qualitative data were analyzed using MAXQDA 24, and the findings revealed that participants were generally satisfied with the developed application.
