Abstract (EN)
Islamic law places great importance on children's rights and prioritizes the protection of their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The right to life, the right to education, material and moral care, and the principle of justice are safeguarded within the framework of Islamic law. It emphasizes theresponsibilities of both society and the state towards vulnerable groups such asstreetchildren. In Islam, the right to life is protected from the prenatal stage. Providing education and raising children as morally up right individuals are regarded as fundamental duties. Meeting their material needs and providing love, compassion, and other forms of emotional support are among the primary responsibilities of parents. Society, on the other hand, is required to act withjustice and avoid any form of discrimination amongchildren. Street children are defined as individuals who are deprived of family support due to economic and social reasons. Islamic law considers the protection of these children not only a duty of their families but also a responsibility of society and the state. The state is obligated to ensure social justice and take necessary measures for the education, health and shelter of streetchildren. Financial resources such as zakat and sadaqaha reallocated to address the needs of these children. Islamic law prohibits the exploitation of streetchildren and encourages alove-based approach to their protection, education, and rehabilitation. This perspective highlights the necessity of efforts at both societal and institutional levels to ensure that children are raised as healthy individuals.
