Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine the impact of exchange rate fluctuations on debt relations in the Turkish context from an Islamic economics perspective. Its primary focus is on the role and value of money in the economic system and the impact of these changes on individual and institutional financial contracts over time. The study consists of three parts. The first part of the thesis addresses the conceptual, historical, and theoretical foundations of money and also provides a detailed analysis of monetary value changes. The second part addresses EXCHANGE RATE FLUCTUATIONS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON DEBT IN TURKEY: A CASE STUDY. The third part addresses THE EFFECTS OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY ON MONEY AND DEBT. This thesis aims to develop sustainable solutions to exchange rate fluctuations in line with the principles of Islamic economics and to contribute theoretically to the field.
