Abstract (EN)

Financial inclusion or financial access is defined as a having account in any financial corporation of individuals. According to academically studies, countries which have high rate of financial inclusion also have high level of welfare. Because of that having high rate of financial inclusion is unavoidable for boosting country's welfare. But increasing financial inclusion has some struggle both demand and supply side. One of the biggest demand side struggle is low level of financial literacy. Otherwise, financial exclusion behaviour rate which caused of religious reasons around the world is %7, in D-8 countries same rate was calculated as %9.7. İslamic Banks (which named as a Participation Bank in Turkey) presents similar service of conventional banks with accordance of religious rules for the people who pay attention religious rules, by making this İslamic Banks arise as the most important interface for boosting this people's financial inclusion rate. For boosting financial inclusion rate of this group people whom above mentioned, having information about their financial literacy level is deeply important On this study, for boosting Islamic financial Literacy level and presenting current situation an İslamic financial literacy index study was done. For this purpose, beyond İslamic financial literacy general index 3 different index was calculated. End of study, İslamic financial literacy general index was calculated as %58.
