Businesses are outsourcing logistics activities: And an application

This thesis consists of three parts. In the first chapter the concept of logistics, the general knowledge about logistics management and logistics costs and the methods of calculation of the logistics costs are discussed. In the second chapter the concept of outsourcing and outsourcing in the logistics activities are discussed. In the implementation phase which is the last section, the survey was conducted on businesses which operate in Aksaray region. The aims in this survey are: What the enterprises understand about logistics, which logistics activities they use, what are the factors that push companies into outsourcing in the logistics activities, how advantageous or disadvantageous are gained when the enterprises use logistics outsourcing in their logistics activities were asked to be measured.
