Problems and solution proposals in ISO 22000 food safety systems applications in massive production facilities in Istanbul

Abstract (EN)

100 people were included in the study to investigate the importance of food safety and the problems that arise in food safety production and for examining the solutions of these problems in mass housing production institutions. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the study, it was seen that the 3 stages where the food safety practices were the lowest in terms of purchasing, receiving and storing, respectively. It was determined that the level of fulfillment of food safety practices of the companies that started to operate after 2000 were significantly higher than the firms that started operating before 2000. Again, in the study, it was seen that food production companies that received ISO 22000 certificate after 2010 had a significantly higher level of food safety practices. The most important problems faced by the firms were 67 difficulty finding systematic, certified suppliers. (Mean = 1.46 ± .67), 67 high cost of analysis. (Mean = 1.46 ± .67), "lack of qualified staff" (Mean = 1.47 ± .67). 1. Difficulty in finding an accredited laboratory for analyzes (Mean = 1.47 ± .67) and) not actively participating in this system" (Mean = 1.69 ± .69).
