The classification of the poetry journal (142a-186b) registered at the Istanbul University Rare Works Library at number T743 according to MESTAP (Review-text)

Magazines are important sources that contribute to the study of classical Turkish literature in many ways. Among the magazines, especially poetry magazines are the subject of new studies day by day. In addition to their artistic value, poetry magazines are also important in terms of reflecting the verse forms, rhyme, reduplication and prosody patterns used in the period in which they were organized in literary terms. Poetry magazines are important in terms of identifying an unknown poet and his poems or poems that are not included in the divan of a poet who has a divan. The subject of this study is the poetry magazine registered in Istanbul University Rare Works Library with the number T743. The aim of this study is to transcribe and analyze the poems between 142a-186b and to present the resulting data in the form of a table within the scope of the Systematic Classification of Journals Project (MESTAP). In accordance with this purpose, the study consists of 4 chapters. In the first part, the definition and importance of magazines and the Systematic Classification of Journals Project (MESTAP) are mentioned. In the second part, the poems subject to the study are analyzed in terms of poets, verse forms, genres and meter. Then, the poems between 142a-186b of the manuscript have been transcribed. Finally, the literary accumulation in the manuscript is transferred to the tables prepared within the scope of MESTAP and presented for the use of researchers.
