Free Republican Party of reflection in Izmir press

The Free Republican Party is the second party in the single party era. The founder of the party Ali Fethi was Okyar. In this article the activities of the Free Republican Party in İzmir which was founded on 12 th August 1930 and closed on 17 November 1930 and the condition of the Republican People's Party has been discussed out. In this study, our most important material has been the newspaper of Izmir. In the life of the new party rally in Izmir it is especially important. The crowd Izmir rally shows that to be effective in a short time the party. Then the party has suffered severe criticism. Conquest of the municipal elections held in 1930, 22 in Okyar's party won themunicipal election. In the following days it had increased more debates between the leaders of the two parties in Turkısh Grand Natıonal Assembly. The conquest Okyar has decided to shut down the party, so that will continue until 1946 single-party era had begun.
