Abstract (EN)
Jet grouting is a soil improvement technique which is frequently used to solve the bearing capacity and settlement problems of ground. This soil improvement technique, which is one of the most widely used methods in our country, is applicable to almost all types of grounds. In this study, a case study on soil improvement by jet grouting method is investigated. In this study where the ground of Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Wastewater Treatment Plant project is investigated, bearing capacity and settlement problems were determined for six unit structures. As a result of the soil improvement with the jet grouting method, the ground areas that have insufficient engineering properties is determined and have been made to comply with the bearing capacity and settlement criteria.
