Abstract (EN)
As in other sectors, female employees in the health sector are exposed to gender discrimination in areas such as career choice, recruitment, career, promotion, remuneration and access to rights. The way to ensure social equality in business life will be possible through the prevention of gender discrimination, whether consciously or unconsciously. For this reason, the more research is done on the subject, the more awareness and awareness is made, the faster the way will be. In this context, the aim of the research is to offer solutions to the employees and managers about gender equality with the data obtained by measuring the feminization of the health sector and the attitudes of health workers towards female workers and to provide scientific contribution on this issue. This study was conducted in Tunceli State Hospital and Tunceli Family Medicines in order to measure the attitudes of healthcare professionals towards female employees. The data of the study were collected through the "Attitude Scale Towards Female Employees". A questionnaire was applied to 200 people selected by convenience sampling method among 685 employees. Analysis procedures were carried out on 180 questionnaires that were suitable for the analysis.Analysis procedures were carried out on 180 questionnaires that were suitable for the analysis. This scale consists of two parts, the first part consists of 7-item demographic questions, the second part is performance (8 items), gender roles (10 items), job acceptance and retention (4 items), career (5 items) and emotionality (3 items). It was analyzed with 30 items in five sub-dimensions. The collected quantitative data were analyzed in the statistical package program and the findings were interpreted and discussed. As a result of the research; When the participants evaluated the "Attitude Scale Towards Female Employees" together with all demographic sub-dimensions as a whole, no significant difference was detected. However, when evaluated separately, significant differences were found in gender, marital status, age, number of children, occupation and years of service.
