Abstract (EN)

The study area includes magmatic units in the Central Anatolian Crystalline Complex, which are exposed to an area of about 100 km2 between Kalebalta, Borucu, Yalnızceviz and Bebek settlements to the east of the Aksaray province. These units are divided into four units as Kalebata leucogranite, Borucu granodiorite, Kalebalta gabroic rocks and enclaves. Within the mafic and felsic rock groups in the region, there are mafic microgranular enclaves with sizes ranging from a few cm up to 70 cm. Plagioclase (An45-65) and actinolites form the main component of the mafic rocks in the study area while felsic rocks form biotite minerals that accompany quartz, plagioclase and orthoclase minerals. As a result of the geochemical analysis, the rocks in the region reflect fractional crystallization products of a hybrid magmatic transitioning from tholeiitic to calcalkaline. When we look at the Al saturation indices of the rocks in the region, it is seen that the rocks evolved from the metalimino character to the peralumino character. This process also supports spectroscopic studies on rocks bearing mixed-fractional crystallization processes in the change diagrams. Particularly, the fact that the bond amplitudes of the early biotite minerals have lower intensities than the bond amplitudes of late biotites support the fractional crystallization process. The geological, petro-chemical and spectroscopic data obtained from the samples collected from the study area are thought to be formed during the fractional crystallization process of a magmatic hybrid character consisting of the rocks in the region and the resultant mixture of two mafic-felsic magmas of the same age.
