Accounting quality costs: An application in Şanliurfa

Today, quality costs have become an issue that should be emphasized by both production and service enterprises. It is a study carried out to reveal the importance of accounting and reporting of quality costs in a production company for businesses. The study consists of literature review and application part. In the study, after presenting a comprehensive literature review, an application study on accounting for quality costs was conducted. For the application part of the study, an advertising and promotion company operating in Şanlıurfa was selected and interviews were held with the business officials to obtain the necessary information, and the financial status data of the business were used. As a result of the study, it was concluded that all necessary measures were taken by the enterprise in order to prevent the recurrence of non-compliance with quality, and in this direction, the enterprise successfully managed the measurement and evaluation costs.
