Flora of Kambos montain (Bitlis)

This research covers the flora of Kambos Mountain (Bitlis). As result of the field survey carried out between 2013 and 2015, 1702 plant specimens have been collected. According to the taxonomical identification of these materials; 330 genera, 460 species, 121 subspecies and 69 varieties belonging to 77 families were determined. A total of 650 taxa have been determined from the area. 5 species of the total 650 taxa is belonging to Pteridophyta division and 645 taxa are belonging to Spermatophyta division. Gymnospermae and Angiospermae subdivisions have 1 and 644 taxa respectively. In Angiospermae, Dicotyledones and Monocotyledones include 555 and 89 taxa respectively. According to their taxa content, the greatest ten families are ordered as follows: Asteraceae 97(%14.92), Lamiaceae 51(%7.84), Fabaceae 42(%6.46), Poaceae 41(%6.30), Rosaceae 38(%5.84), Brassicaceae 35(%5.38), Apiaceae 32(%4.92), Caryophyllaceae 31(%4.76), Boraginaceae 23(%3.53), Plantaginaceae 19(%2.92) and according to their taxa content, the greatest ten genus are ordered as follows: Salvia 12(%1.84), Trifolium 11(%1.69), Silene 11(%1.69), Centaureae 10(%1.53), Veronica 10(%1.53), Astragalus 9(%1.38), Ranunculus 8(%1.53), Stachys 7(%1.07), Euphorbia 7(%1.07), Galium 7(%1.07). A total of 54(%8,30) endemic and non-endemic rare plants taxa 9(%1.38) have been determined from the area. The distribution of the endemic taxa according to the threat IUCN red data is as follows: 5 taxa in endangered "EN", 15 taxa in vulnerable "VU", 23 taxa least concern "LR (lc)", 2 taxa near threatened "LR (nt)", 3 taxa conservation dependent "LR(cd)" and 16 taxa in data deficient "DD". The phytogeographic distribution of the recorded species from the area is as follows: Irano-Turanian 245(%37.69), Euro–Siberian 35(%5.38), Mediterranean 35(%5.38), and unknown phytogeographic elements 335(%51.53). The distribution of taxa according to Rauinkiaer's life forms is as follows: Hemicrytophytes 320(%49.23), Therophytes 134(%20.61), Cryptophytes 75(%11.53), Chamaephytes 61(%9.38), Phanerophytes 60(%9.23).
