Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between public, health and investment expenditures and economic growth in the long run was investigated using data from 1980-2020 for Turkey with causality tests, impulse-response analysis and DOLS models. As a result, there is no causality from public expenditures to economic growth for long run. From impulse-response analysis, it is concluded that shocks in economic growth have not long run effect on health and investment expenditures. By applying DOLS model, the long-term effects of public expenditures on economic growth are examined. DOLS was reached a positive correlation between both health expenditures and investment expenditures and economic growth in the long run.
