Abstract (EN)

The effectiveness of education seminars has been measured in this thesis, "The Measurement of Public Relations Activities in Public Enterprises (Kastamonu-Daday Forestry Operation Directorate Case)". It has been aimed to determine whether public relations activities carried out by certification program in Daday Forestry Operation Directorate create the desired effects on the target group in accordance with aims of the enterprise. For this purpose, these activity results measurement methods have been used; awareness/comprehension, recollection/remember, attitude/preference and behavior. Data used in the methods have been obtained from questionnaires conducted on the target group. Staff, and labors of forest production have been picked up as intra-organization target group; clients have been picked up as non-organization target groups. Both groups have been conducted questionnaires separately. There are also common questions. Data collected via questionnaires have been analyzed with frequency tables and independent two sample t-test. Obtained findings have been gauged according to varieties of public relations activity results measurement methods. Results have been put forward in terms of effectiveness level for three target groups both separately and comparatively for common questions.
