Özet (EN)

The aim of "Kanlıtaş Höyük Early Chalcolithic Pottery from 2013-2014 Excavation Seasons" thesis is to analyze and describe the pottery from Kanlıtaş Höyük settlement in details and to indicate the place and importance of Kanlıtaş Höyük in Porsuk Culture. If ever consider the location of Kanlıtaş Höyük, it falls into Eskişehir and Kütahya intersection point. The effects of both "Developed Fikirtepe" culture of East Marmara Region and Hacılar I culture constitute Porsuk Culture. In general, the excavations at Orman Fidanlığı and Kanlıtaş Höyük settlements show that apart from pottery tradition, small finds also indicate that this culture has regional features. Purplish-red slipped and red slipped wares, besides dark face ceramic groups, flaring deep bowls, flaring plates, squat necked pots, outturning rim pots, spherical body pots and carinated pots reflect the Early Chalcolithic period pottery tradition of Porsuk Culture Region. Frequently purplish-red or red painted motifs on camel (or cream) occurred on bowls. On the other hand pots and deep bowls have gray, black and brown tones surfaces. Both stap-and-drag technique pricked decoration examples; also inlay, groove and impressed decoration on these vessels are seen at the settlements in this region. In general, some ware groups and vessel forms of Asmainler and Aslanapa sites are similar with Kanlıtaş Höyük and Orman Fidanlığı examples. In this respect, the pottery tradition of region has similar features. As a conclusion, Kanlıtaş Höyük settlement at Porsuk Culture Region is an important transit point for cultural exchange between Anatolia and Balkans..
