Abstract (EN)
The aim of this graduate thesis is to determine the efficiency of the preparation of the yellow pine tree bodies as industrial products, which were knocked down between December 2015 and January-February 2016 due to heavy snowfall and storm at Yalçıcam Forest Management Department. For this purpose, the diameter and length of the tilted tree bodies were measured and the sizes of the erected shell body were determined. During the study the working time and working efficiency was measured by dividing working segments into; management and preparation, tilted-tree root section, removing branches, measurement and marking, dividing sections and waiting periods. Measurements were made on 100 tilted trees and the work section (zone) time was compared with the literature study. As a result of the work-time study and analysis, it is specified that the maximum amount of time required in the preparation of the tilted tree bodies as industrial products is dividing sections with 30.56%, and then with the 21.54% removing the branches. In addition, the inconveniencies of obtaining industrial products from snow and storm-torn tree bodies has been discussed in terms of job safety. The average unit time required for 1 m3 vertical shell bulk is found to be 5,78 minutes and 1 hour efficiency is 13,16 m3.
