Abstract (EN)
Since the existence of the world, mankind has benefited from forests in every field. Forests have always been at the center in the construction of activities such as the need for building and fuel, grazing animals, clearing fields and supplying nutrients. Over the years, our species that grow naturally in our country have been destroyed and narrowing in their distribution areas has ocurred. In this study, kermes oak, macedonian oak, hairy oak, thuja oak and kasnak oak, which are naturally distributed within the borders of Karaman province, are discussed. As a result of the study, oak species that naturally spreas in the borders of Karaman province were determined and their distribution areas were determined. As a result of the findings, silvicultural suggestions were made to ensure the sustainabilitiy of oak forests.
