Özet (EN)

Objective: The aim of this study is to statistically examine the self-efficacy of karate coaches in terms of gender, age, education levels, coaching experience duration- level and national team status. Material and Method: In this research survey model was preffered.. A total of 81 karate coaches, 21 female and 60 male, participated in the study. In order to collect data, "Coach Self-Efficacy Scale" (Koçak, 2020) inventory was used except for the personal information form prepared by the researcher and expert opinion. Data analysis was carried out with the statistical analysis package program. Descriptive statistics (frequency, arithmetic mean, percentage distribution, standard deviation); Independent Sample T Test; One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) comparison test; Pearson Correlation test were used to analyze the data obtained. The results obtained were evaluated according to p <.05 significance level. Findings: As a result of the research, it was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between coaches' gender, age, education levels, coaching experience duration- level and national team status. Conclusion: After the research, it has been concluded that the demographic and sports-related characteristics of karate coaches did not significantly differentiate their levels of self-efficacy. 2024, 63 Pages Keywords: Performance, Personality, Education, Management
