Özet (EN)

The aim of this research is to investigate the effects of the ınstruction of the solid matters assisted with dynamic geometry softwares on the 7th graders' attitudes towards geometry and spatial thinking. The pretest-posttest control group experimental design was adopted by the research. This research was conducted with 40 7th grade students from a school at Menemen in İzmir in 2014-2015 acedemic years spring semesters. The students from two different classrooms at 7th grade in application school were experiment and control groups. There were 23 students in the experiment group and 17 students in the control group. In the research quantitative approach was adopted. In this research within the process, "Mental Rotation Test" has been used to research the effects of teaching The solid matters to spatial abilities assisted with Dynamic Geometry Software and "Geometry Attitude Scale" has been used to examine the attitudes of students towards geometry . Data obtained during the research were assesed by SPSS 15.0 packet program.According to the results of the research assisted with dynamic geometry softwares method raised the levels of spatial thinking in solid matters instruction, and dynamic geometry assisted instruction didn't have an effect on student's attitudes towards geometry. In addition to this there wasn't a relation between students' spatial thinking and attitudes toward geometry in dynamic geometry softwares method assisted instruction class and traditional instruction class.
