Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out in 2021 to detect the bark beetles that cause damage in the forests of Yahyalı region in Kayseri province. In the Yahyalı Forest, pheromone traps and trap trees were placed in the trial areas where drying was observed. The pheromone traps and trap trees in the trial areas were checked and observed at regular periods. The information of the locality of the samples obtained during the researches was recorded. At the end of the study, 5 bark beetle species were identified. These are respectively; Tomicus minor (Hartig 1834), Ips sexdentatus (Borner 1776), Orthotomicus erosus (Wollaston 1857), Tomicus destruens (Wollaston 1865), Tomicus piniperda.
