Abstract (EN)

Ecological balance has started to deteriorate and threats have emerged on a global scale, as a result of the increase in population density and technological developments with urbanization. eople have become psychologically and physically tired of the difficult living conditions in cities, and the balance between humans and nature has deteriorated. In order to maintain this balance, urban tourism corridors and recreation corridors have become important. In order to ensure the continuity of tourism and recreation corridors and to strive climate change, it has become important to plan the corridors with green infrastructure systems. In this study, the importance of tourism and recreation corridors is stated and it is emphasized that people should prefer them. A survey was conducted on 303 people face to face in the Atatürk Pavillion and Botanical Park route which are decided tourism and recreation corridors, and it was determined that people use this area in the summer months and do not prefer places where there are no recreational activities. The Atatürk Pavillion and Botanical Park route was proposed within the scope of the study, green infrastructure systems were planned and solutions were developed for the sustainable use of this route.
