Abstract (EN)
daha sonra dolduThis study, reveals the potential of these wastes in terms of energy recovery by conducting a detailed examination of the current urban solid waste management system of Artvin province. Within the scope of the study, researches conducted on waste management in Turkey were examined and the data of urban solid wastes in our country were obtained from studies conducted by TÜİK, information on the websites of relevant Ministries and academic studies. In this study, the amounts of wastes generated in the province were examined according to their types and the energy production potential that can be generated from domestic, animal, agricultural and forest wastes that can be evaluated in Artvin was revealed in the light of the obtained data. Evaluating the energy production potential of wastes in Artvin province can provide significant contributions to the development of regional sustainability strategies. It can make a positive contribution to reducing carbon emissions originating from wastes and therefore the pressure on climate change. This study can help local governments and policy makers make more effective decisions in the management of these wastes by determining the energy production potential of urban solid wastes. rulacaktır
