Abstract (EN)
In this thesis the work presents a technique for shape modeling of hair follicle. The technique of sketching this shape is based on a set of four periodic boundary conditions and on the use of an elliptic partial differential equation (PDE). Geometric modeling using partial differential equations has been acknowledged because of its smooth nature, partial differential equations with boundary conditions are solved by separation of variables analytically. Every chosen boundary condition creates a boundary curve and this process can be obtained by utilizing MATLAB, the shape of the generated PDE-based representation of hair follicle, is designed. The data, regarding the radius and height from the hair follicle and we will see later that the two equations we obtained has a correct structural properties in designing hair follicle.
